More Exciting News!

We are delighted to announce the official launch of our annual follow-up initiative to enhance communication and support for our clients.

Creating a Will is an essential step in securing your legacy and protecting your loved ones. However, it is equally important to recognize that a Will is not a one-time document; it requires regular updates to reflect your evolving circumstances and goals. As time goes by, our lives change, and so do our priorities. You might get married, have kids, acquire new assets, or go through a divorce. All these life events could have a significant impact on your estate plan and your Will. Failing to update your Will to reflect these changes could result in unintended consequences and legal battles that could drain your estate's resources.

Through an annual follow-up, our goal is to help clients maintain up-to-date documents and meet their evolving needs. We have implemented software to track signing dates, so clients will receive a personalized, annual follow-up on the anniversary of signing their documents.

We always recommend reviewing documents annually to ensure they continue to accurately reflect personal circumstances and goals. But we also know a year can fly by! That’s why staying connected and providing ongoing value to our clients is our priority.

Further, we recommend lawyer review every five years or so - or after any major change in the life of a client of ours or one of their Personal Representatives or beneficiaries (whichever is sooner) - but we have always felt guilty about clients having to track that time themselves. We know five years can breeze past. Our system will also track the number of years since signing, and we will follow up to schedule a time to connect after five years have passed.

Please note: Your privacy is important to us. If you wish to unsubscribe from annual follow-ups, you will find an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. Rest assured that we respect your choices and will promptly update your preferences accordingly.
